Cuz that's what it means to give up sailing. You don't compromise by buying a trawler. Compromise would be a Fisher 37 or a Nauticat. A trawler means you GAVE UP SAILING. Period. And spare me the crap about sailing dinks around. Doug doesn't do it anymore. If you haven't time for a sailboat, you haven't time for a trawler and a dink! Your friends are as gay as Doug. Fairly sure I never mentioned time as an issue, but I'll let them know what you think. Sure they will be as concerned about your opinion as I am. RB 35s5 NY Whatever was I thinking. Of course I'll not bother them with this. To offer this opinion to this group of individuals with their sailing resumes and life accomplishments, and to let them know that it came from a LIS day sailor who never leaves the Sound, who spends his non sailing hours as a yard errand boy, a marine junk peddler on ebay, and an incessant troll merchant in this group would be disrespectful at the very least. They would rightfully question my sanity. Frank |
