These are the boats I spent some time on WOW Bubbles, we're all SO impressed! ... I am NOT an experienced sailor of these boats. We could tell .... I believe you need to stay in shape/practice for that kind of sailing on at least a weekly basis. So, you admit now you're overweight & out of shape? My goodness it must be true confession time. As for weekly practice, if you're looking to play the majors, then yes. Otherwise, it's like riding a bicycle. Once you acquire the skills & reflexes, they don't go away. I haven't sailed a Laser more often than a few hours a year for the past 15 years, but when I jump on one, it's lots of fun. Sorry you didn't make the fast sailboat list, Doug. Apology accepted, but not necessary. 1- I don't give a rat's patootie about you or your lists 2- I've owned and sailed more performance boats than you've ever heard of ... You traded in your sailing dreams for a powerboat. ??? What part of "cruising with family" do you not understand? And I still sail more (and better) than you ever will. DSK |
