Ok Nutsy and other Northeasterns,
HEAT!! It coming at Ya. Be Careful. Make allowances for it. Joe has shown you the way. A Moon Light Sail should be on the menue. Remember; more people die from the heat in the Northeast than in the southwest. Take Care, http://community.webtv.net/tassail/ThomPage |

It's supposed to hit 107 here on Monday... also be over 100 all week. Time
to stock up on ice cubes. -- "j" ganz @@ www.sailnow.com "Thom Stewart" wrote in message ... Ok Nutsy and other Northeasterns, HEAT!! It coming at Ya. Be Careful. Make allowances for it. The human body is marvelously tough most ways. That doesn't make it idiot-proof however. Capt. JG wrote: It's supposed to hit 107 here on Monday... also be over 100 all week. Time to stock up on ice cubes. Ouch! It's been in the 90s here (not really all that hot) and people have been complaining. The sun intensity is pretty bad though. DSK |

Indeed it should Thom. I perfer to sail at night most anytime of year. I think I've seen more amazing things sailing at night. My favorite was electric snakes, water so loaded with phosphorus that snakes like tubes of light were rolling all around RedCloud. I told everone onboard they were electric ells:0) Also nothing like a moonless night 25+ miles offshore void of pollution and glare. The stars can be seen the same way Columbus saw them. July Aug and early Sept is brutal here. The dog days have started here with no wind, and punishing heat. Also a sign that hurricanes are soon coming. Ugh ...Rita seems like yesterday and it was just a glancing blow. Joe Remember; more people die from the heat in the Northeast than in the southwest.
