Indeed I did, 106 in the shade, slight puffs at best. I saw one poor
fellow just sitting out in the middle of the lake for hours, I always
carry a paddle.

I'm guessing NYer stumble and waddle around the narrow finger piers
tripping and falling on unkept lines and such That being so ...the man
had to put you under his thumb to cut down on sheer stupity and law
suits.

When a boat catches on fire and can not be un-shackled and towed out
to burn who's going to pay for the damage to the other boats?

Perhaps all of your cleats are bunged up from the schackles and knife
marks leading to excessive chaffing...

Ever hear of a knife, Joe? It can actually cut a dockline free faster
than trying to untie a burning vessel. But that's not how the FDNY
handles a small boat fire anyway, Joe.
Next you'll tell us that in opposing rows of boats, the fire dept. will
tow a burning boat out of a slip, risk 10 boats in the process and THEN
put the fire out!
