Joe, the 35s5 is one of the few boats with bunks that can fit a tall
person like myself. The aft cabin has a bunk over seven feet long. Only
one other boat matched her performance and gave us a good place to
sleep at anchor.
Sorry, Joe. When you make comments like that you just get clobbered.
You simply don't know boats.


Of course, it doesn't include room to actually stand up in the aft cabin!

And its a pretty fair bet you won't spend more than a couple of nights
a year at anchor while you have this stepping stone.

Lots
of berths sells boats, and Bobby eats that marketing stuff up. It's got

nothing to do with practicality.


It's funny to see how little Dave knows about boats and what makes them
popular. There are two very solid reasons for a quarter birth.

1) When daysailing with friends, it's a great place to throw bags and
cloths and other non-fragile items.

2) On smaller boats, the quarter is often the ONLY place for a taller
person to sleep.

This was the case on the Catalina 27 and the Pearson 30. If you don't
know that basic little item, well...it sort of explains the CS27. Dave
is either quite short or doesn't sleep aboard.

cabin and closed to the forward, open to the forward but closed to the
main,
or closed to both.



Uh, yes, that's quite clear. You have no enclosed head. It's always
open to one sleeping area or another. Useless. So you've got a 60's
interior in a boat with average performance and one of the worst
blister historys in the history of glass boats.
