I myself like the look of the hull, it's different but looks very stable and roomy a good feature for such a small boat. The cabin top is ugly yes, but you have no room to talk on that point Rob, as far as cabins go you have one of the ugliest one's going. Joe RB 35s5 NY |

The cabin top is ugly yes, Does Joe know anything about anything? The CS27 is NOT roomy. Not even a seperate head or quarterbirth. Deck space is less than a Catalina 27. The hull looks different to you??? Where were you in the 70's? Good grief....any Joe dares to comment on the looks of the award winning 35s5??? BWAHAHAHAHA! http://www.bostonsailingcenter.com/F...eteau35s5.jpg/ No boat at our club brings more interest and compliments, except maybe the C&C34LX which is equally modern and even faster. Sorry, Joe. Really sorry! RB 35s5 NY |

I've never been on the boat, that is smaller than any boat I'd ever think of buying and sailing. 32 ft was the smallest I ever looked at buying..A Tahiti Ketch from the 70's. Not even a seperate head or quarterbirth. Deck space is less than a Catalina 27. The hull looks different to you??? Where were you in the 70's? Not in the sailboat mkt at the time. BWAHAHAHAHA! http://www.bostonsailingcenter.com/F...eteau35s5.jpg/ It's not ugly from that picture angle, it the profile pictures that make you vomit, yet in the picture the cockpit looks crowded and you can tell just about everything aft the cabin door below is wasted space. No boat at our club brings more interest and compliments, except maybe the C&C34LX which is equally modern and even faster. comments like eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww Sorry, Joe. Really sorry! Hey you bought it. Im sure once (if) you discover blue water you will be dumping that fraglie french whore like a hot potato, and moving on to the next stepping stone. Face it Rob, the boats not roomy or stout enough to cruise with a sence of security, nor light and sleek enough to race, it's a boat on par with the Mac's with the big outboards. Make up your mind. yet in the picture the cockpit looks crowded and you can tell just about everything aft the cabin door below is wasted space. Joe, in all seriousness, the cockpit is huge. http://members.aol.com/bobsprit/imag...sundayweby.jpg The cockpit really handles 7-8 people with comfort. Look at the space between Suzanne and my buddy at the wheel. And the coamings are broad enough to also seat a few people. And with her lines running below deck, deckspace is more comfortable than other boats. RB 35s5 NY |

Hey you bought it. Im sure once (if) you discover blue water you will be dumping Joe, should I take up serious blue water sailing, I won't be sailing a Beneteau. We bought this boat to suit our current situation so we could have a great time NOW...not in seven to ten years. Thomas will only be a little boy once and this boat is simply going to be more fun for him and us. RB 35s5 NY |

you can tell just about everything aft the cabin door below is wasted space. Joe, the 35s5 is one of the few boats with bunks that can fit a tall person like myself. The aft cabin has a bunk over seven feet long. Only one other boat matched her performance and gave us a good place to sleep at anchor. Sorry, Joe. When you make comments like that you just get clobbered. You simply don't know boats. RB 35s5 NY |

Dunno what kind of boat you were looking at, but it wasn't a CS27. Apparently you not only can't read--you can't follow a picture either. Oh really? Here are two quotes from the review of the CS27: "The interior layout has the galley and navigation station aft, with no room for a quarter berth under that deep cockpit in the narrow stern." And.... "Forward, there is a second CS Yachts multiple-folding, multi-purpose piece of work, which serves as a door to screen off the forepeak and head. " DOH!!!!! Sorry, Dave. RB 35s5 NY |

When you make comments like that you just get clobbered. You simply don't know boats. Of course, it doesn't include room to actually stand up in the aft cabin! And its a pretty fair bet you won't spend more than a couple of nights a year at anchor while you have this stepping stone. |

Lots of berths sells boats, and Bobby eats that marketing stuff up. It's got nothing to do with practicality. It's funny to see how little Dave knows about boats and what makes them popular. There are two very solid reasons for a quarter birth. 1) When daysailing with friends, it's a great place to throw bags and cloths and other non-fragile items. 2) On smaller boats, the quarter is often the ONLY place for a taller person to sleep. This was the case on the Catalina 27 and the Pearson 30. If you don't know that basic little item, well...it sort of explains the CS27. Dave is either quite short or doesn't sleep aboard. So the head can be open to the main
cabin and closed to the forward, open to the forward but closed to the main, or closed to both. Uh, yes, that's quite clear. You have no enclosed head. It's always open to one sleeping area or another. Useless. So you've got a 60's interior in a boat with average performance and one of the worst blister historys in the history of glass boats. Congrats! RB 35s5 NY |
