Hey "Capt" Rob ...have you ever?
Hey, the 35s5 has just over 400 hulls and not the best capsize ratio,
yet two also circumnavigated. What gives with the CS27? And again Bobsprit demonstrates he knows nothing about sailing. Well....we'd all like to get educated! Please explain why a boat with 500 hulls out there couldn't be used to circumnavigate. Lesser (and that's not easy) boats have done it. RB 35s5 NY |

You'll have to excuse Mooron. He keeps ignoring the fact that key interior components of the 35s5 are honeycomb material (to save weight) that cost twice what teak costs TODAY! That and the fact that he's continously repairing the poor interior of his Nordica 30 has him rather cranky. RB 35s5 NY |

So your defense on any point from here on will be to simply pretend you had one. Good work, Dave. I think it's clear why you don't sail a nice boat. RB 35s5 NY |

Dave, why don't you explain to all of us why the Catalina 27, one of the most popular and well loved family sailors of all time, is junk. Jack Horner and pretty much every other expert considers it to be an excellent starter boat. My Cat 27 was a ton of fun and only cost me 5K!!! It had more room than your boat as well. A guy who owns a boat with a 50% chance of blisters shouldn't throw stones. My 1973 Catalina never had blisters and is still sailing today. RB 35s5 NY As an unscientific lark, I just googled the following: "cs 27" "circumnavigation" = 26 hits "catalina 27" "circumnavigation" = 2140 hits Make of it whatever you like. It's all in fun, anyway. I would be interested to know with which keel Dave's boat is fitted. CWM |

What honeycomb material is that? Most honeycomb is made of epoxy impregnated cardboard. It is doubtful that aluminum or fiberglas honeycomb is used on your boat. |
