I believe they do. That is how I spotted the "Poly".

running AIS your vessel should be noted.

Then again I may have missed your point. Maybe you

meant a
running history such as the main presentation?

You'd think, but there are definitely no waves from that side. Actually, I
think they're going to remove them, because all they do is collect garbage.
I think they may be holdovers from the marine attempting to prevent people
from running aground by trying to go in from that direction.
