A small white paper. Actually, they paid $1900 not $1500. I like them and
their company, and want more of their business. -- "j" ganz @@ www.sailnow.com "Maxprop" wrote in message news ![]() "Capt. JG" wrote in message ... Probably. Fortunately, I'm not nor will I ever be like that. I charge a fair price and
give clients a break whenever I can. -- "j" ganz @@ www.sailnow.com "Maxprop" wrote in message nk.net... "Capt. JG" wrote in message ... A small white paper. Actually, they paid $1900 not $1500. But I charge 5% more than most in my industry. That way... if they ask for a discount as a carrot to more biz, it's not a big deal to knock off 5%. -- "j" ganz @@ www.sailnow.com "Maxprop" wrote in message nk.net... "Capt. You need to be more like attorneys--when the client is desirable, charge more, not less. Thats not bad advice and works most times Max. When the desirable(desperate) clients come to you if they know you charge more IMO it is because they asked the people that charge less to do it... and they failed. Or they know you can do the job, and know what it is going to cost them to fail or not fix the need in a hurry. Joe Max |

I do too. Except, I don't put up with jerks. All of the clients I work with
get a discount if I can manage it. -- "j" ganz @@ www.sailnow.com "Joe" wrote in message oups.com... Capt. JG wrote: Fortunately, I'm not nor will I ever be like that.
