One of these

They're a bit more powerful than a 420. Longer, finer entry, firmer bilge, higher aspect & bigger rig. The 420s here are mostly open (always remind me of a bathtub) but the Vanguard 15 is mostly decked-over... although with typical Vanguard quality, the deck is not to be walked on by anybody weighing over 55kg (120 lb). I think of it as a kids boat, but they are fun. They are pretty good light air boats. Too light & fragile to be a club boat or a trainer. It doesn't do anything a Tasar doesn't do better & faster (although it is simpler), but that class never really caught on here either. No such thing as the perfect boat, is there?
