No doubt a sub-standard hull shown to be poor performing, spongy, inadequate
and thus flogged to some unsuspecting n00b. Laser racers do it all the time. I'm just glad that Capt. Rob happened upon it for free. Seriously, no knowledgable person would actually lay out cash for somthing like this? Would they? Deck Gorilla "NotPony" wrote in message news:hU3gg.224$Id2.176@trnddc03... Missing a mast collar, but the mast sections are fine? Please explain. S. "Capt. Rob" wrote in message ups.com... : I have a mid 80's Laser sailboat. This is also missing a mast collar. : No rigging or sail, but that's easy. Her hull looks sound as do the : dagger board/rudder. Two section mast and boom are fine. : First 300 bucks takes her! : Must be picked up at City Island. Thanks. : : RB : 35s5 : NY : |

Not to mention the gunwhales & probably the mast step leak like a gusher. I'm just glad that Capt. Rob happened upon it for free.
