Default My LaBrisa Dink.... perfect weekend warrior

Here is a picture of a weekend warrior sailboat, all that someone like
bubble's really needs, anything more is just fluff.

http://image30.webshots.com/30/5/67/...6DdkPsY_ph.jpg

Had a fine sail this morning, wind steady 10-15 kts.
Skipper and I had a fine view of the cresent moon around 5:30 on
Galveston bay, made it back in around 08:00. Planning on heading out
again this aternoon, evening, weekend, Monday ect.

Hope you enjoyed your sailing today!

PS sorry the camera lens is a little fogged, brought it out from the
AC.

Bubbles couldn't sail one of those, he'd flip it trying to
figure out how to steer.

Looks like a nice little boat, do you use it as a tender for
Red Cloud? Ever row it?

You might consider putting on a boom vang, it'll help a lot
off the wind at 15 kt.

Joe,

If she was mine; the first thing I do would be to cut that Tiller in
half and install a tiller extension. It would improve the handling 100%.
You wouldn't be turning turtle if you could turn her into the wind
easier.

Nice Craft,

Hi Thom,

It has a tiller bar, If you try to turn out of a capsize the downwind
side just goes under. You have to think ahead and watch for puffs.
Or you need more rail meat, and that slows me down to much. Going to
upgrade soon and get a skiff.

You could put a trap on that one. The mast looks strong enough.

Yeah it is fun, can carry 4 adult and a couple of small rugrats with
ease.

I traded a WWI oil painting of a man on a Harley Davidson racing thru
a pack of germans on horses and shooting a pistol at them.

Ah, but bubbles probably wouldn't be able to sail her. Nice boat!
