Did you know that you DID drop atomic bombs in Japan but NOT for the reasons your Govt had you believe. Ahh...errr ... Ok, then what 'reasons' do you dispute and why did we really do it? Science Vito, they wanted to test bombs in real life situations, to see exactly what devastation it would yield. Japan provided the opportunity to do that, and an excuse that it would stop the war and save thousands of lives. It certainly stopped the war..which was coming to a close anyway, and probably saved many hundreds of American lives but at a cost of around 300,000 So, you discount Hirohito's pledge to fight to the death of every man, woman, and child in Japan prior to the two nukes?
