Well I thought only the fighter planes got to paint cool emblems on
thier fighters and bomber's.

Looks like they are painting her with a "Dazzle" cammo pattern.
It keeps subs from determining their 'angle off the bow' from your
ship. Hard to hit you with a torpedo if they can't figure out exactly
which heading you are on.

I used to have a Mortimer Snerd ventriloquist dummy as a figurehead on my
old sailboat. Boy, that thing got laughs!
