undercarriage replaced with tracks and skis. They were popular for

Polaris Industries in Roseau, Minnesota, in the United States

I've been on more snowmobiles than anyone here... more quads as well.

Everyone knows that Bombardier produced the first tracked snowmobile.

To discuss this with Americans is to lower yourself to provide plausibility
to their delusions that they might have a leg to stand on with their pitiful
wails of ski fitted Model Ts...

Hogwash I say.... they believe dogsleds were the sole domain of the Inuit
yet we Canadians know the Dene had dog teams for as long a time...

Let them prattle on with their ignorance... it amuses me. :-)

Facts are facts, Bosco....Bombardier built upon an established
entity...and what faulty logic dictates that just because you have
ridden on or used snowmobiles more than anyone here (and I doubt
that knowing the history of some of the subscribers to this group)
means you have anything to do with the origin of snowmobiles?
