I would tend to agree. We have a huge need for inexpensive labor, and it's
easy to get here from Mexico. I would think that Texas would have a higher number as well. I'd like to see the stats. -- "j" ganz @@ www.sailnow.com "Bob Crantz" wrote in message . .. "Scotty" wrote in message ... I heard on the radio, that Colorado has the most illegals in the country. Wonder why that is? Scotty I don't think that is true. California should have more because it is a border state and has a large economy both in manufacturing and agriculture. Colorado's economy (as well as population) is a drop in the bucket compared to California. Colorado does have one of the highest income per capita counties in the nation, the highest PhD per capita county in the nation, the most scuba divers per capita, the least obese state in the nation, the highest per capita of Olympian athletes, national sailing champions, a high per capita share of Nobel prize winners, a very high gun ownership rate, very low taxes, low crime, very low pollution, the most sophisticated rednecks in the country, a sparsity of white trash, concealed carry for all, drive through liquor stores, fiscally conservative government. It's the kind of place John Wayne and Barry Goldwater could easily identify with. You never heard John Wayne say, "Pennsylvania is my kind of place" have you? The icing on the cake is that people like Bobsprit would never consider moving here, let alone visit. In fact, he'll never be within 1,000 miles of the place. Some people have to die to go to heaven, whereas others simply live to be in heaven. Amen! |
