What a shame Bobspit, not all your trash can be smashed down in the toxic muck, sludge bioterraformed layers that cover the bottom of LIS. Joe |

The LIS is very large. On the eastern half, there's absolutely no pollution.

The LIS is very large. On the eastern half, there's absolutely no
pollution. Forget it, Bob. Joe and a few others are just jealous. We have the some of the best sailing grounds ever around here. There are a zillion cool places to visit by boat or car all along the Sound. The sound also hosts some great sailing events, races and great restaurants. There are whole books devoted to these sailing waters, which are among the cleanest. Even nicer are the clubs themselves, quite a few dating back 100 years or more. My own Minneford's has a building where Cup boats were built and the half hulls still adorn the walls. Joe has yet to post a single pic of his boat under sail. I wonder why. RB 35s5 NY |
