For the levy system for New Orleans. What's a few basillyian dollars?
Here's the catch 22. The Army Corp of Engineers have to certify the levy to a 100 year flood plane. If sea levels rise the perdicted 21 ft in 100 years due to global warming, that means the levy gotta be how friking tall before the insurnace people will ever pay another claim? Anyone's boat insurance cost take a major leap lately along hurricane alley? The yards are full of totaled insurance boats. Oh well, just more prime anchorage, sailing grounds and tropical breezes IMO. Joe |

It makes no sense to rebuild a city that will eventually be

Oh, and between the Port of New Orleans and the Port of South Louisiana, in raw tonnage, you have the fourth largest port in the world. Any insights on where you will move them to? |
