Ever get a glove finger tip caught in a bind? I almost had my hand
sucked into a tugger that pinched the finger tip between two strands on the spool. The glove squeezed like one of those chinese finger cuffs, I just barely got my hand out in time. I don't like gloves, jewelery, long hair, anything that can get caught on running rigging. Joe |

Mine have fingers except for the thumb and index finger. Warmer that way.

I have a set of full neoprene gloves also, but only use those in the winter.

Funny you should mention sharks.. one of the women was going to start Scuba
and was concerned about it. I reminded her that Tiberon means shark in Spanish. :-) I've never heard of anyone getting bitten by a shark in the bay, but they are just about everywhere. During Winter, I use my sailing gloves as driving gloves.
