What's the top five most important things to do to unwinterize your boat?

make sure you get all the pink crap out of your water system
make sure you put distilled water in your batteries and that they
are charging properly
check all your running and standing rigging for repair or replacement
bottom paint
untarp...it really looks stupid to sail yopur boat with the tarp
still on

Don't you keep your batts filled and charged up thru Winter?

no...traditionally they went into the marina's battery storage...a
cold shed....of course, now it's different...

still looks stupid....

1. tend to bottom paint
2. wax hull
3. reinstall all the stuff you took home for the winter,
including the rum.
4. put back in water
5. re tie dock lines

Break out the tropical canvas
turn the ice maker on high
Check the freon charge in all the AC's.
Clean the strainers more often.
Flush and replace engine coolant.
