Default Trip Report 2006: Spanish and US Virgins Pictures

Oops. I'm sorry, I was thinking of your new digs. Forgot
you left your boat down there.

Katy, how far must you motor to get to good sailing?

The way the winds prevail, not far at all....a couple

miles...you
can set your sails and run out one way or run back in the

other on a
beam reach...there is a bottle neck that comes up right

after you
hit Doug's marina but after that the river opens up to the
Sound...Doug would be able to give you the actual

miles...if we were
shallower draft, we'd have more room to sail but have to

watch the
depth gauge so we don't go aground....
