Oh, man, shouldn't have asked you to post 'em, I'm geeting green with
envy

John Cairns

Hey, you've been and gone several times lately....I'm super jealous....

Much worse if you've actually been, you really know what you're missing.
Sort of like the difference between being born blind or losing your sight
later in life. Besides, you're on the big water and I'm stuck here on
Lake Erie!!

John Cairns

Anf the daffodills are blooming here...: P....

If you hadn't been a lifelong resident of the frozen wasteland yourself, you
wouldn't be pouring salt on our collective northern wounds, Katy. Have
mercy, bitte.

Max

Nope...spent 53 years in the frozen North and just like a reformed
smoker, I'm going to relish in my newfound freedom. You'll just
have to suffer until you decide to get down here yourself.

73 F here today. Gentle sun. And the daffodills broke open on the
last day of January. Earliest ever. I'm somewhat concerned about
that.

Frank--we've had pansies blooming throughout January in the front yard
(northern Indiana). And a forsythia plant up the street was showing some
color about mid-January. My guess is those plants probably aren't going to
look like much when the weather finally breaks for good. We have about an
inch of new snow tonight, and more on the way. Not complaining, though.
This winter has been a bonus.
