Or to Bill's unsuccessful recent efforts to get them to hire his former press secretary as a lobbyist. You can of course cite a source for this? Even if true, what does Clinton trying to help a friend get a job have to do with the price of tea in China? Cheers Marty |

So, because Clinton, who is, last I checked, no longer president, might have
accepted money for his library or speeches, and because he failed to get his former employee a job, that means that it's ok for Bush to do have accepted the money. There could certainly not be any possibility of a conflict of interest between a sitting president who accepted money from a foreign gov't and an action that the sitting president is pushing hard to get completed. -- "j" ganz @@ www.sailnow.com "Dave" wrote in message ... I recall reading the same thing in another place in the last couple of days, but don't recall where. http://www.townhall.com/opinion/colu...02/188380.html Even if true, what does Clinton trying to help a friend get a job have to do with the price of tea in China? About the same as the 10 year old plus contribution to the library of our current President's father. |

That's your only comment? I'm not the one who's getting high. You brought up
Clinton, as a foil for what Bush is doing. Makes absolutely no sense. -- "j" ganz @@ www.sailnow.com "Dave" wrote in message ... On Thu, 2 Mar 2006 10:51:29 -0800, "Capt. About the same as the 10 year old plus contribution to the library of our current President's father. Exactly! Cheers Marty |
