Who is the biggest wimp on that graph?

Amen!

Reagan... he just couldn't say yes.

I'm glad to see at least someone overwhelmingly approves of Bush. You must
be a good Republican. There's too much Bush bashing going on. We're at war
and must stand by our President no matter what.

LOL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's not valid unles you also know the composition of the House and
Senate for cross-comparison...

An excellent point.

Instead of looking at the composition of the House and Senate, let's
first look at the results:

1. Largest growth in federal spending in almost 40 years.
2. Another war on an undefined enemy.
3. Federal survillence of US citizens increased.
4. Police state powers increase.
5. Massive increases in entitlement spending.

All these laws, entitlements, etc originate in the House or Senate.

Bush can approve or disapprove of them.

Republicans are the party of smaller government, self reliance and
freedom.

Bush is either not a Republican or a wimp.

The choice is yours.

Amen!

PS I saw a giant Texas style beehive last night at Costco on an old
blonde. I laughed and that of you. If I only had a camera.

Glory!

There are no checks and balances when all branches if the government are
on the same side...
Since Congress is also Republican, and he is not vetoing them, it means
that Congress has also drifted away from their own identification...

How can you say that, Katy? Kennedy, Johnson, and Carter all had
democratically-controlled Congresses during their terms in office, and they
exercised their vetos a number of times.

Bush has completely lost perspective. He is pandering to those who wouldn't
vote for him under any circumstances. I think he's doing this to attempt to
improve his approval ratings. Foolish move, as his ratings haven't improved
among those to whom he is pandering, and they've fallen precipitously with
those of us who mistakenly took him to be a conservative republican.

None of them had anywhere near the number of their constituents in
Congress that Bush has. The problems in this country need ro be
klaid down to all involved, not just one person. Congress is every
bit as much as fault as the President...

Both of which were/are controlled by Republican majorities.

He is not a Republican AND a wimp. He is a National Socialist.

I was sitting on the bridge railing going into Tijuana one Sunday morning
sharing a last pint of tequila and some lime & salt with a couple friends and
some local kids eager to learn colloquial so-cal English so they could 'pass'
when along came this huge fat woman in a moo-moo and beehive and began berating
us for being ugly Americans. It was so bizarre nobody even laughed.

Whatever led you to believe that Bush (or Reagan) were conservatives. Goldwater
was a conservative. Bush is a National Socialist. The differences between him
and, say, Schumer are the same as those dividing Hitler and Stalin.

I'd agree with that, Katy, except for the fact that the Prez is supposed to
fulfill a leadership role, especially when Congress is largely favorable to
him. He is pandering to Congress, too.

By the way, W passed within ten feet of me today. Motorcade drove by at
twice the speed limit and all the affected streets were closed for almost an
hour. The big limo with the flags has such dark windows--I suspect the Prez
was riding in any of the other vehicles, including the truck that looks like
a swat team vehicle, rather than his limo. Security.

He's campaigning . . . at US taxpayers' expense, of course. I guess every
other prez has done the same thing, so it's not just him.

Any idea what Air Force 1 flys for per hour?
