You should be ashamed of yourself. But what the hell, anything to starve
off boredom, hey? "Capt.Mooron" wrote in message news ![]() "Capt. Rob" wrote in message oups.com... Bavaria has real wood inside... Bobsprit is a little touchy since he found out that was imitation woodgrain imprinted shelf liner on his boat. I've tried to tell him not to worry... he still has the "honeycombed" bulkheads and swimplatform to ride on. BTW, I see that the Bavaria 38 is yet another boat with a 3 cabin charter verson. Guess what? No room for me to sleep yet again. Still worse, the boat is expensive. What did Ozzy pay? He said less than 100K, which still sounds like a Express 30 more worth! I do like the Bavaria boats, but we couldn't do anything over 37 feet due to our slip constraints. I'll say one thing, it's not very fast for it's size compared to a First 36.7. Then again Ozzy makes money with his boats so that's not a concern. Anyway...that Bavaria's swim platform makes her a 35 footer, right? Man I'd love to see a comparison of the crew condition/moral between a 35s5 and a Bavaria after a Trans Pacific. I bet the crew on the 35s5 wouldn't be anywhere near as beat due to the ease of cleaning the interior. What was Ozone thinking??? He'll be elbow deep in wood work for the next 5 years.!!!??? CM |

He'll be elbow deep in wood work for the next 5
years.!!!??? Didn't you read the review and comments. The Bavaria is loaded with veneers as well. It's built for light weight, spirited sailing and not restoring poor interiors like on the common Nordica 30. Some people prefer sailing, Mooron. Keep us posted on your project boat! RB 35s5 NY |

I know someone giving away a Trojan 35 convertible. Needs two engines.

Most of the Euro-styled models marketed in the United States push interior volumes to new levels so that the interior of a modern 38 rivals the interiors of older 45-footers. ..... And cost as much too .... |
