Rigger, sailmaker,diesel guy and diver checked her out.
Didn't do a haulout but I did get access to a report by the banks
surveyor when they were costing her out.
She'll get a full detail when she gets back here in 4 or 5 months.


I've been on a couple of Bavarias and thought they were
pretty good boats, but their reputation has certainly
suffered after the keel-falling-off incident(s).

Haven't heard of keel dramas, but just looking at the quality of the
build, I'd say the incident/s was a glitch.
To be honest, I've never seen quality like it on a production boat,
rarely on a custom, and most often in multi million dollar yachts.
Mahogany fitout is virtually seamless.
