Wow!!... 30 min of driving in the winter and Bowsprit's an Expert!!
Been driving a variety of cars in the Pocono's for 15 years. Maybe you've heard...we do get a bit of snow there. Driving on a plowed road being worse than unplowed... priceless!! Depending the car, weight and type of wheels this is of course 100% true. Plowed street leaves packed snow over thin layer of ice in some conditions, which is worse for a big tire than 9 inched of powder. RB 35s5...someone who's actually driven many cars! NY |

driving on Seasonal, Winter and Ice roads for the past 20 years while living in the Arctic!!! So let's get this straight, Mooron. You seem to think that an 18" all weather tire has BETTER traction over compacted snow and ice than through untouched snow? Just for the record...do tell. RB 35s5 NY |

My 22'' tires do better on a plowed road than not. Yes, you are wrong once again. And small, too. Scotty |
