The 99 has a 5.5 option which I could live with. But it just doesn't do
much better than my 35s5 except go a tiny tiny bit faster and is less
of a cruiser of course. The 99 is still one of my favorite new boats
for the low price.

For your purposes, your boat is clearly superior. Quit wishing, despite Mr.
Crantz's fishing expedition, which, I must say, has netted him a rather
large Bubble guppy of late.

Few folks are as big a fan of the 99 as I am. It's the only reason I
responded. I didn't bit the bait...just swimming around it. BTW, the
99's cabin is pretty impressive for ths size of the boat. The photo's
don't do it justice.

We've been on C&C boats at the last few shows we attended, and frankly,
Bubbles, I'm not impressed with any of them. Their decks are laid out well,
ostensibly for racing or performance cruising, and their cockpits, while too
large for extended offshore work, are comfortable and everything is
accessible. But the interiors appear to be constructed of veneer over
masonite, poorly fit, poorly finished and cheap-looking. For the prices of
these boats, I'd expect something better. Your boat, for example, has an
interior that beats anything C&C has created in recent years. The 110 we
last inspected was so poorly built that the salesman apologized for it and
remarked that later production boats "should be a lot better."

Also disappointing were the newest Sabres. Their interiors have also
suffered a decline in finish quality. The cabin sole was positively ugly
(not as bad as a Bavaria, but close) on the last one we saw.

Krusty is no sock puppet. With a little digging you can find out who he is
and where he lives. He divulged his real name on usenet back in 1996 a few
times. You can trace one of his email addresses through the C&C group and
use the header suffix with BinaryBill through a Google Search. Then dig a
little deeper into the ibm games group and you've got him. A pattern/habit
type search is helpful. Then do a Zaba Search on his name in the state in
which he lives, eliminate the ones not near his port of call and then it's
obvious. Then do a cross check on yacht documentation/registration and it's
verified by the boat he owns. He's even admitted it right here, but you
have to know how to look.

Even with all these clues, none of you will find him.

Why do you think Krusty is nice to me?

Despite our criticisms, Sabres are well-constructed boats. The company is
fighting to keep them in their price niche, and it appears they are cutting
some corners in order to do so. Mostly those cut corners are cosmetic in
nature. The hulls are structurally strong and the joinery is well-done.
But you are right--one expects better things from the high-priced spread.

would do something like that???

Way beyond the threshold of Common Sense.

Tell me it wasn't Commode Joe! Never Mind... he's spineless.

Who was it?

Whoa..... Really! That wasn't very smart on her part.

What would cause a person to do something like that.... ??

Seems like LP has some serious life issues if that's the case.
