Boat of the Year!
Award winning!
Noted interior! Swim platform! Faster than fast! Superior hull strength! http://www.boats.com/new-boats/c&c/364400/details.jsp Amen! |
Boat of the Year!
The 99 has a 5.5 option which I could live with. But it just doesn't do
much better than my 35s5 except go a tiny tiny bit faster and is less of a cruiser of course. The 99 is still one of my favorite new boats for the low price. RB 35s5 NY |

Do you sail LIS with your buddy Rob all the time Commodore?

For your purposes, your boat is clearly superior. Quit wishing, despite Mr. Crantz's fishing expedition, which, I must say, has netted him a rather large Bubble guppy of late. Max |

I didn't bit the bait...just swimming around it. BTW, the 99's cabin is pretty impressive for ths size of the boat. The photo's don't do it justice. RB 35s5 NY |

We've been on C&C boats at the last few shows we attended, and frankly, Bubbles, I'm not impressed with any of them. Their decks are laid out well, ostensibly for racing or performance cruising, and their cockpits, while too large for extended offshore work, are comfortable and everything is accessible. But the interiors appear to be constructed of veneer over masonite, poorly fit, poorly finished and cheap-looking. For the prices of these boats, I'd expect something better. Your boat, for example, has an interior that beats anything C&C has created in recent years. The 110 we last inspected was so poorly built that the salesman apologized for it and remarked that later production boats "should be a lot better." Also disappointing were the newest Sabres. Their interiors have also suffered a decline in finish quality. The cabin sole was positively ugly (not as bad as a Bavaria, but close) on the last one we saw. Max |

If Joe is correct you need only look in the mirror.
If Joe has any memory, he'd know who "joe" is and even what boat he sails as pics of it were posted here. I have no sockpuppets....don't need em for this group! RB 35s5 NY |
