Post on occasion Columbus, Oh Mac 26S a superb boat, as bobsprit would say. Actually it works quite well on the smaller inland lakes. Bart Senior wrote: Pretty Lame there. Worth 3 points. More detail needed. What is the name of the boat. Why do you think it is a superb boat? Are you on drugs? Actually the Mac 26 _S_ was a pretty good boat. You're probably think of the _X_ model PowR-Sail-R. I liked the daggerboard model better, but the main flaw of the centerboard version was that the pennant was cleated down inside the cabin, and the hatches were too flimsy to step on. Plus they're a little on the tender side, but they're sure not the only boat with that minor flaw. Besides, some folks think heeling 'way over is fun. DSK |
