I'm not sure of the range because the DEA always use then from about 3 feet. LOL The 'lock busters' I've seen are simply bags of powdered lead ahead of a stout charge. Very effective yrt safe at 3' and under ... which is about as far back as a DEA agent can get and still hit a door. No shape charge needed. |
