So,bs, how much does the boat draw? I'm
interested in it if it draws less than 7' 1". S. "Capt. Rob" wrote in message oups.com... : According to Doug, if I indicated that a vessel's draft of "7' +" is a : problem, I've failed to be clear? Most people would assume this to : mean: And draft 7 feet or more is problematic. : Oh, but not Doug! He needed to know that the + sign indicated 5" (or : so) lest everyone be confused! : : So, folks...please be very very exact when talking about draft and : please don't talk about draft/load variations. There's only so much the : poor guy can take! : : : RB : 35s5...a boat that draws 4 feet, nine inches EXACTLY!!!! : NY : |

If it draws 7 feet plus 3/4th of an inch it will pressent the same sailing issues relative to any obstacle. remove some bits and she may reward you with another 1/3 an inch, but why would you want that? For a trailer it's another matter and exact draft figures matter. I guess that's what Doug is always thinking....where can he DRIVE his boat to! In any case it draws even more than that. RB 35s5 NY |

BTW what country do they use thirds of inches as a standard measurement? Is this for those who double-extra hate the metric system? DSK |
