Gary, You have a much longer boom than I do. Mine is only about 10 foot and my mid-sheet is just about mid-boom. The picture shows the set up of the New Main, with the vang up tight. I was fitting it. You can see the bulge with the vang drawn up. You'll notice the traveller is just about center. When I releashed the vang the bulge disappeared.
