I've seen the light! Bob has convinced me that the only important
qualities in a boat are pointing ability and heeling. So I sold my
PDQ and had enough money to buy not one, but two of these beauties!
My wife wanted white and my daughter wanter red, so I figured, why not
both? To maximize the cruising range, I had them fitted with wing
keels. Note the swim platforms.

The yard didn't have the right jackstands, so I had them setup on my
front lawn:

Hey, that's from the new issue of Yachting. Beautiful shapes.

Actually, I took the picture myself last week with a little Pentax
waterproof camera.

Optio WP

Not a great camera, but waterproof down to 5 feet. The zoom is sealed
in the body. We got it to use on the kayak and its already survived a
few incidents that would have killed any "weather resistant" camera.
As always, the camera that's small enough to carry, or tough enough to
take anywhere, takes much better pictures than the one left behind.

What's not great? Slow? Poor focus? Low light focus is often an
achilles heal with small P&S.

Its rather neat that almost the entire weight is supported by that
little bracket.

Note the giant papaya in the background.
