One of the difficulties with field work of this sort is the provision of
adequate controls--it is often necessary to resort to time-sequence
rather than contemporaneous controls, hence Bobsprit's regular periods
of long absence from the newsgroup.

I think it's more likely that Boobsie is a pimple-faced ****** who has
nothing except a computer and intermittent internet access, who envies &
hates people like us who actually have a real life, boats, friends, etc
etc. That's why he's so hung up on trying to get others to envy him.
