Its a 32' full keeler. It has a transom hung rudder that is the full
depth of the keel. |

EXCELLENT!!!!
A Real Vessel!!! West Marine has a Tiller Clutch. Adjustable Shock cords with small blocks to the tiller. Use Jam or Clam cleats..... Is your vessel a double ender like mine? CM wrote in message ups.com... Its a 32' full keeler. It has a transom hung rudder that is the full depth of the keel. |

Have mercy on poor Errol You'll have him sailing
backwards like you do in Overproof! Well, even that would be ok if you did it on purpose... "Capt.Mooron" wrote EXCELLENT!!!! A Real Vessel!!! West Marine has a Tiller Clutch. No..... it isn't but I'm certain you must have a store like it. I got mine
from the local chandlery here in Canada.... but to tell the truth... I agree with Bart on the Tiller Tamer..... use adjustable shock cords and cam cleats. I've replaced mine 3 times due to the breakage he mentioned. CM wrote in message oups.com... Is West Marine in Australia? I looked for it but cant find it listed. |

It is a shame. Good idea, crap materials. Also I found
it very slow to free when I needed the tiller free. That could be dangerous. "Capt.Mooron" wrote No..... it isn't but I'm certain you must have a store like it. When I had a tiller pilot, sometimes I'd turn it off, to save the
battery, but still use it to hold the tiller to a set position. Basically you had a hole in the tiller that a pin dropped into, was very quick to pull out. I suppose you could make something similar using an adjustable telescoping pole. SBV "Bart Senior" .@. wrote in message ... It is a shame. Good idea, crap materials.
