Default Sailing Today

While the rest of you posted up a storm, we actually sailed my friend's
new (to her) J34c. Winds were 7-10 knots but picked up after a couple
of hours.
It was interesting to compare the J34 to the 35s5. I felt that the J
was more sluggish to respond to the helm a and a bit slower, but still
a lot of fun to sail. The deck and cockpit is well laid out. Below
decks the J was barely better than my old C&C. She plans to race the J
and it was bought for an amazing 39K at an auction so I can't argue the
value.
Nice boat, but as we noted the first time we looked at one, just too
little space below for us.

17 days until we're aboard the 35s5!

35s5...the better boat!
