lead through the water. Frankly, as a dinghy sailor I prefer going
flat and fast.

If you really want excitement on a cat you have to sail light and push
hard. I don't get to do that often with my family.

I admit in light air it doesn't have much feel to it. And if you need
spray in your face to have fun, a cat won't give you that.

On the other hand, I can take out a 470 or 505 or soling or R19
anytime I feel like "sailing."

There are three local to me and two are in good shape...just not the
creampuff with 20K worth of gear we found in Florida. But it's nice to
see you're desperate enough to make stuff up and still not make a
point.

Oops. I guess you're not familiar with the Paris Boat show. It's not
like our lame shows here, Jeff. Your ignorance seems boundless. The

Yeah, you can tow one behind you, Jeff. Seriously. You've taken some
beating here. Mostly because you own a cat and that has little in
common with a 35s5, J35 or even an Express 30 or J24. Even Neal owns
more of a sailboat than you. These are "sailboats" Jeff. Most people
prefer them to Cats unless they have back problems and kids with back
problems.

Gemini and PDQ. I actually liked the Gemini better, but it was also
brand new. Both were dull to sail. We had better wind with the PDQ and
it was fast off the wind, but it just felt like nothing. We could have
been in a motorhome. Very little feel. Suzanne hated it, and my J24
racing friend put it perfectly..."Why would you ever want to take this
out for a daysail?"
Sorry, Jeff. We like to sail too much to own a fat cat.
