Default Did You Know?

Just 18 days until we fly back to Tampa to see family, then have fun
with our new boat...the Beneteau First 35s5!

But did you know...?

The 35s5 has discontinous rod rigging!
35s5 deck and bulkheads are honeycomb to save weight!
Rudder stock is epoxy corposite!

Is this why you had to scour the country for one the could (possibly)
pass survey? Doesn't that give you a good feeling, knowing that if
used, they fall apart?

All lines and furler below deck!

So that the jib is a deck sweeper that gives no visibility from the
helm? And since the furler hole is right under the anchor roller,
doesn't mud from the anchor just fall into the furler? Of course,
you'll never actually use the anchor, will you?

35s5 fitted with new Dutchman system!
Counter tops are marble!

And this is an advantage? Why?

Halogen and LED lighting!

whoop!

The swim ladder FOLDS flush into the platform!
Two zone AC and heat for aft and main cabin!

Why? Haven't you figured out you can't use it under way?

Bunks sized for adults over 7 feet long!

You keep saying that, but in the drawing only one corner of the berth
is over 6'6". And neither "stateroom" has enough space to actually
stand up.

BTW, you should keep a fire extinguisher in the cabin, since the door
opens to the galley and you have no other way out. Our daughter's
cabin is in the same location, but she has a full sized escape hatch
over the bunk.

Which brings up another problem: you claimed 7 hatches but there are
only 2 deck hatches that can provide ventilation, and 4 are small side
portholes, and one opens into the cockpit, fer gawd's sake! That boat
will be stifling in the summer! No wonder you need A/C! Good luck
trying to sleep at anchor with one tiny hatch opening into the cockpit!

Headroom over 6'4!!!

But you only have about 3 sq. feet of floor space!

Owners report easily outsailing their ratings!

Isn't that a contradiction? Kind of like being too tall for your height?
