They're leaving bush like rats off a sinking ship. It's pretty funny to
watch. Iraq was a lie. Bin Laden escaped. Nation is a international laughing stock. Scandal everywhere in government. Debt at all time high. Gas costs at all time high. Businesses, now done with scaling back still suffering. Americans dying in false war. Environmental damge at all time high. Medical costs at all time high. New Orleans proves Bush did nothing to prepare for another big problem. And of course there's much, much more. Shame on anyone who voted for this loon, who doesn't even represent Republican values. It took you all long enough to figure it out. Bin Laden sure got the last laugh...and so did Bush. Robert B Beneteau first 35s5 NY |

You troll is not effective on Republicans. Your talking points are merely
the bilge spewed by Democrats, some of which has nothing to do with Bush. If a Democrat is elected President should one expect: Lower gas prices. Less scandal in government. The capture of Bin LaDEn. The decrease of medical costs. No recessions. The following claims are lies: Environmental damage at all time high. False war - got news for you, it's real. New Orleans- the problem is on the State level. Businesses are not suffering. Debt is at all time high because the cost of borrowing is at an all time low. If you want to troll Republicans: a. Is government smaller now than it was 8 years ago? b. Do you have more freedom now than 8 years ago? c. Do you feel safer than you did 8 years ago? d. What administration and Congress are the biggest spenders in 40 years? e. Who has increased the size and scope of government the greatest since LBJ? f. What administration has let more illegals into the country than any other? g. Are you more confident or less confident in the government than you were 8 years ago? h. Do you think government spending is out of control? i. Do you think the Republicans have betrayed their stated principles? j. Do you think Republicans are the party of big, intrusive government? k. Do you think Republicans better represent large business interests rather than those of the working man? l. Do you feel that the Republicans have the best interest of our wounded veterans in mind? m. Should the politics of the nation be dominated by Evagelical Christians? n. Is religion a qualification for a Supreme Court seat? o. Does the Bible take precedence over the Constitution? p. Should the President consult the Bible or the Constitution? q. Why does God speak to George Bush but not to me? r. Why has George Bush never exercised a veto? "Capt. Rob" wrote in message ups.com... I'm not trolling rebublicans. Bush is NOT a republican. If you can't see that, then you simply can't see. Why did Bush lie about Iraq? Where are the WMDs? Why did her let Bin Laden go free? RB |

If a Democrat is elected President should one expect: Lower gas prices. Doubt it. We're on the downslope from Peak Oil now. Lower gas prices will be temporary & small scale, resulting from local price wars. The decrease in global supply (forecast with depressing accuracy by Dr. Hubbert) & increase in global demand (greater than Hubbert's predictions due to the unforeseen Asian industrialization) means that we're in for a double whammy. Gasoline at the pump has increased at a rate lagging inflation for the past 30 years or so, and that has been a big factor in the decreased cost of transport of goods which in turn is a big factor in 'the global economy.' This trend will reverse (in fact is already reversing) with great impact. Less scandal in government. I thought we already had that? The capture of Bin LaDEn. That'd be nice. The decrease of medical costs. That'd be nice too No recessions. I dunno, a mild recession as part of the normal business cycle is healthy for the national economy. The following claims are lies: Environmental damage at all time high. Marginal or cumulative? False war - got news for you, it's real. heh heh it's sure not a "police action." New Orleans- the problem is on the State level. And on all other levels. Businesses are not suffering. Some are, some aren't. The key question is, which ones, and is it part of a pattern? Debt is at all time high because the cost of borrowing is at an all time low. That's an interesting point, and has a lot of truth. OTOH it's also true that debt is being more agressively marketed than ever before, and financing consumer debt is more profitable than ever because the gov't has recently given it greater protection against fraud & abuse, not to mention any grievances wrought on average citizens. Here's the part I like: If you want to troll Republicans: a. Is government smaller now than it was 8 years ago? Hell no. b. Do you have more freedom now than 8 years ago? Hell no. c. Do you feel safer than you did 8 years ago? That depends on how deeply you have your head stuck in the sand. Many people claim they *do* feel safer. d. What administration and Congress are the biggest spenders in 40 years? e. Who has increased the size and scope of government the greatest since LBJ? Hush, or they'll be taking you off to Gitmo! f. What administration has let more illegals into the country than any other? It's been hypothecized that this is a sub-rosa agreement with Mexico for oil. g. Are you more confident or less confident in the government than you were 8 years ago? See my answer to c above. h. Do you think government spending is out of control? Yes, but then it always has been since the Continental Congress. i. Do you think the Republicans have betrayed their stated principles? The Republicans which are closest to the center of power have *no* principles. j. Do you think Republicans are the party of big, intrusive government? ouch! k. Do you think Republicans better represent large business interests rather than those of the working man? Well, Republicans were *never* the party of the working man. The Republican Party has been since the earliest days (apart from anomolies like Abraham Lincoln, who was gay (just kidding, he wasn't really)) the party of the business proprietor, the banker, & the entrepreneur. In recent decades, the Republican Party has (foolishly & knavishly IMHO) donned a blue-collar mask by becoming the party of the bigots & the segregationists. Note: who did the KKKers vote for in the last election? Anyway, the betrayal here is not that the Republican Party does not favor the working man, but that they favor big international conglomerate corporations over local business proprietors & entrepreneurs. l. Do you feel that the Republicans have the best interest of our wounded veterans in mind? Of course. That's why they are creating more of them. m. Should the politics of the nation be dominated by Evagelical Christians? Only if they are Catholics or Episcopalians. The other Protestant faiths do not have enough reverence for obscure dogma & glittery ceremonial. n. Is religion a qualification for a Supreme Court seat? o. Does the Bible take precedence over the Constitution? p. Should the President consult the Bible or the Constitution? Obviously, the President should make the Federal Gov't into a Church and require all people to worship & donate accordingly. q. Why does God speak to George Bush but not to me? He *is* talking to you, you just haven't played the right Beatles album backward. r. Why has George Bush never exercised a veto? Because he's afraid somebody will ask him how to spell it. DSK |

As a marginal measure. You could say cumulative if you consider prehistoric non human sources such as meteors smashing into the earth, volcanoes, etc. False war - got news for you, it's real. heh heh it's sure not a "police action." New Orleans- the problem is on the State level. And on all other levels. Especially those under sea-level. Businesses are not suffering. Some are, some aren't. Bob Crantz wrote: You troll is not effective on Republicans. I have nothing against Republicans. I even know a couple I think. If a Democrat is elected President should one expect: Lower gas prices. No! Democrats want HIGHER gas prices. The higher the better! Less scandal in government. Depends on the kind of scandal. The politics of personal destruction is better than the politics of corruption. The capture of Bin LaDEn. Just like Bush! The decrease of medical costs. Just like Bush! No recessions. Best economy in years - Clinton. The following claims are lies: Environmental damage at all time high. Would you like some sludge with that pie? False war - got news for you, it's real. Falsly based war. New Orleans- the problem is on the State level. Which state? Businesses are not suffering. Right on! Just the people. Debt is at all time high because the cost of borrowing is at an all time low. All we have to fear is fear itself. If you want to troll Republicans: Convince them of the error of their ways... not troll. a. Is government smaller now than it was 8 years ago? But Bush has a very diverse cabinet. b. Do you have more freedom now than 8 years ago? I can say anything I want on usenet without the Feds watching (ok, start recording... now we got him) c. Do you feel safer than you did 8 years ago? I'm being watched. I feel safer. d. What administration and Congress are the biggest spenders in 40 years? Clinton on haircuts. e. Who has increased the size and scope of government the greatest since LBJ? Cheney. f. What administration has let more illegals into the country than any other? Cheney. g. Are you more confident or less confident in the government than you were 8 years ago? I KNOW they don't give a ****. I'm totally confident in that. h. Do you think government spending is out of control? No. They have a plan, but they won't tell us. i. Do you think the Republicans have betrayed their stated principles? Just their elected officials. j. Do you think Republicans are the party of big, intrusive government? Not unless you're an unwed mother. k. Do you think Republicans better represent large business interests rather than those of the working man? They sure do! l. Do you feel that the Republicans have the best interest of our wounded veterans in mind? Hey, Bush is a vet and he cares about himself. Does that count? m. Should the politics of the nation be dominated by Evagelical Christians? Dominated? Is this a Harriet Miers joke? n. Is religion a qualification for a Supreme Court seat? Only if it's MY religion. o. Does the Bible take precedence over the Constitution? Which version? p. Should the President consult the Bible or the Constitution? Which version? q. Why does God speak to George Bush but not to me? No. But, Bush is dyslexic. r. Why has George Bush never exercised a veto? He's going to veto the humane treatment of prisoners. Give him a break! -- "j" ganz @@ www.sailnow.com |
