Thought I'd stop in and look around. I see that
nothing has changed.
BS is still up to the same BS.
He posted his "last post" for the day and then
followed with a couple more that evening.
Another boat? Nice interior shot, bs.
Interesting how it looks just like this one.

Wait, it is the same pic. You flew to FL just to
copy pics from the net?
What kind of surprises me is the way the rest of
you play along with him. Doesn't it get old?

Uh, dopey...yes. I flew to St. Petersburg. I also posted my exterior
shot of the boat. Is THAT one on the website???

Bzzzzt! You lose. I'll be posting full info including the story on her
famous owner shortly...famous in the sailing world anyway.

Owner:
ARTHUR L RODRIGUEZ
TAMPA, FL 33604

That's correct. He's unable to use her. But who here knows enough about
sailing history to know that Arthur was aboard a very famous boat for a
VERY famous race? He's now 73 and continues to campaign his Tartan 10.
I'll be pretty impressed if someone knows.

The man is just another cheapskate liberal like yourself. Probably bought the boat
in the first place as some kind of tax dodge. Certainly didn't buy it because he
wanted to sail it. If so he would have bought a decent boat made in America.

Three hundred bucks is all he can afford????? Bwahahahahhahhahahahah! Or should
I say three hundred bucks is all he can afford to throw away because one does, indeed,
throw away any money donated to the DNC. Long live Howard Dean.

Guess you don't know sailing history. Arthur has some serious sailing
credentials, far beyond anyone in this sad group. I'll post about him
shortly. Who cares about his politics in a sailing group? You are some
kind of panzy.

I'm a 'panzy' only in your homoerotic dreams . . . BTW the correct
way to spell "panzy" is pansy! And, you still claim to be a writer?

The only writing you do is of tall tales of boats you're pretending
to buy and sail while you take of the flat as a stay at home Dad
while your wife works. Talk about a pansy!

Bottom line is you can't tell us who he is because you don't know
sailing history...and he's a big part of it.

There's sailing and there's racing and racing isn't sailing IMHO so
I don't waste my time with learning racing trivia. You lose bigger.

Sailing history is sailing history and some of it is comprised of
racing. That's a fact. The other fact is that you just got caught
AGAIN. You LOOOOOOSE!
And my boat's wheel is nicer than your whole sad boat!

Congrats on the boat. It looks to be a pretty nice one.

Thanks, Joe. We're very excited about it. Next summer will be mostly
short weekend sails and we may try some Wednesday night races. I'll be
living on the boat for the long weekends with Thomas while Suzanne
works the night shifts.

Anyway, Arthur can't be much more than a footnote (or less) in the
history of
sailing. He's below the all pervasive and inclusive radar of Google

I found him easily on Google and Dogpile including pics of him with Ted
Turner from the 79 Fastnet. Also found pics of him with Roy Disney.
Like I said, I'll post info on him shortly. He's the real deal and
doesn't spend time on the web. At 73 he's still racing. A bad knee and
hip is slowing him down, so he's letting the 35s5 go. Lucky for me. The
condition of the boat is nothing short of a miracle. My website will
soon have full details, including pics from my sail aboard her and one
last sail (before she comes home) in St. Petersburg in a few weeks.

It doesn't make me any more important, famous, or a better sailor,
just because
I know somebody else.

Nope, this particular fellow has been part of some pretty important
sailing events. I'll disclose all when our business is done.

I can already tell the Boob chose this boat to buy so he can tell
people at cocktail parties who used to own his boat figuring that will
impress folks and they will think higher of him. Problem is, Dennis
Conner didn't own it and that's the only name anybody outside of
sailing has ever heard of.
