Default Express 30 Questions?

guess a Farr 40 is not a proper racer.

Shame on you for comparing your sad 20K boat to a Farr 40. The only
wheel steered boat I'd own now is a R&P design which doesn't rely on
cables. Such wheel systems preserve rudder feel.
Loco, you're boat is just plain sad. Why not get a C&C 34R? That boat
can get out it's own way at least.

My advice to you is to actually get some experience on the J30
for more than a few rides and
learn to trim a sail for proper balance

Open mouth insert foot. I have plenty of J30 hours. I used to crew on
a J30 that was always in the top 3 in the very competitive and large
Annapolis fleet. Your the one who MAYBE went for a few rides.

You're boat rates as BARELY faster (and it won't beat a J30 boat
for boat anyway

Anybody see the lack of understanding that's displayed here.

Hmmm, my friend's Yanmar has been ultra reliable and never had an
issue.

You should run for office somewhere. Please point out where I said
anything negative about Yanmar. I knocked the 3/4" propshaft that J
Boats used on the 30. But you knew that and failed to comment on that
fact because you had no defense.

Notice how he doesn't mention how fast the J boat is since he got
shot down on that one? ..

He gets busted at least once a day by someone on here then he gets in a
bad mood and goes and surfs the net trying to come up with some new
topic.

Well, I think he's trying to recruit allies, think his only current ally is
RedClod.

We sail a J30 on a regular basis. My wife and the girls have NO
problem with the tiller even in fresh conditions.

Bull****. I guess your women are much stronger than the women who owns
and races a J30 in Annapolis. She petitioned the class requesting that
they allow her to have her rudder modified to turn it into a semi
balanced rudder so she could take some of the load off in big breezes.
The J30 tiller is a bitch in a breeze and everybody knows it.

Am I correct in assuming that you didn't intend this to be a pun?

Anyone who thinks I'm an ally of Bobsprit's, is either in a persistive
vegetative state, or they just fell off the carrot truck today.

Sorry to break it to you, but I've been sailing a J30 for almost 10
years, going out almost every summer on her, mostly on evening sails.
This year we didn't because she was storm damaged after her mooring
dragged. The fact that you don't know how to balance a J/30 and get it
in the groove is either a lie or simply inability to trim. The J/30
tiller is not tough unless you're overcanvassed or badly trimmed. Claim
what you like, but you've tipped your hand once again.
Sucker!

Probably. Suzanne trains and had a flat belly back only 8 weeks after
having thomas and my friend who races the 30 and used to race her 24
does triathalons. Like me, these girls keep strong. They could kick
your ass with ease. I have no doubt that Suzanne would beat the crap
out of you as you sound like a total weenie. I know your type from my
days as a bouncer.
