From what it looked like to me, the boat was pooped, and sank on it's own or
the second person on the boat did when he climbed back on... He was wearing
foulies, and clearly was not a surfer.

I'm hoping to get more info, since I think a friend of mine knows the boat
owner.

Amazing pics. Have to feel sorry for this guy, making a mistake like that
and having it recorded for posterity. Pity the good samaritan surfers sank
the boat.
