Hey Gary if you want to get on me for throwing 2-3 lbs of organic
ashes in the ocean (I do understand it might foul up your bubble bath) go ahead... I'm still going to tell your Mom... Glen On Thu, 31 Mar 2005 22:10:21 -0500, Gary L. When Neal dies his ashes will be carried around in a cedar bucket. And you
will be able to hear that cedar bucket complain all the way to where REAL sailors hang out. It will be the dirtiest load it has ever had the displeasure of carrying. Lonny B "Glen" wrote in message ... I need some help. A very good friend of mine just died. He and his wife loved to sail with us. She called and told me she would like to have Steve's ashes thrown overboard into the sound. Since the boat is not very big (25') we plan on having the bulk of the memorial party on shore at our house. What is the "proper" way to set the boat up..ie flags, bunting, etc. He died in Mexico so it will be a few days before his ashes return here. Any suggestion will be appreciated. Glen |

I shall look into the possibility of going into production making small, genuine cedar buckets from Juniperis Virginiana. These cedar buckets will be of the same type real sailors use on their fine, blue-water vessels but smaller and with a gasketed lid so they can hold the ashes of deceased sailors who wish to be contained that way and not in some earthen (gasp!) container.
