other REALLY HUGE Arenas. National acts? He probably plays at store openings in malls. I have played a few arenas, but mostly smaller venues, I've seen just about every bar in the country, and lots of theatres, festivals, etc. Do Holiday Inn's even have lounges? I can honestly say I have not been in a hotel lounge to see a musical act since about 10 years ago while touring through Houston I saw a little girl by the name of Leanne Rimes (sp?). She blew me away, but I guess I am not the only one, as she had already recorded her first album and was waiting it's release. -- Captain Lon "Rock stars! Is there anything they don't know?" I played a national radio show today. And no, I won't say which one. -- Captain Lon "Rock stars! Is there anything they don't know?" Homer Simpson |

know how you feel about them? Oops. I didn't mean it that way! I play with regional bands. Some have recordings that they are trying to distribute nationally, but I can't call them national acts. I do get to work with people from nationals, during recording etc, and I get to open for them quite often also. Not always a good experience, btw. A friend of mine's band toured with and opened for KISS during a European leg of their tour a few years ago, and you would think it would be really cool, but it really wasn't for them. Sometimes crowds are cruel. Obviously they are not usually there to see the opening acts. -- Captain Lon "Rock stars! Is there anything they don't know?"
