Seems to me your using the present tense of your verbs smacks
of delusional thinking. Didn't you say in an earlier post that
your boat was on the hard and you were working on it?

Replacing some of that inferior, interior woodwork?

Bwahahahhahahahhahahahah!

Your vessel is heavy and has an old, deep keel design all of which work to
create a large wave train. So much energy goes into making these waves
that there is little left to move your vessel forward.

My vessel pays no heed to 4 foot seas.... and if you were half the sailor you claim ... you'd know enough to work over the sea...
instaed of having it work you over.

My fin-keeler is faster on every point of sail than an equivalent full-keeler
but it is markedly faster downwind because it can surf with control.

Your boat wouldn't surf with a 200hp Merc pushing it... let alone sails. My boat on the other hand tracks like a train on rails
downwind...... way faster than that finicky fin keeled coastal cruiser of yours!
