Default Too bad . . .

This is an addendum to my post entitled "You poor slobs" which talked about
Gulf Stream sailing.

Since I criticized Mooron in it, I felt I had to include other regulars of this sordid group just
to make things fair . . .

Too bad Katysails is too uppity to ever receive a sailing invite from this Captain.

Too bad Bobsprit doesn't even know what the Gulf Stream is.

Too bad for Gaynzy the Gulf Stream isn't gay.

Too bad for Joe the salinity of the Gulf Stream is great enough to
rapidly rust away his crummy steel hull.

Too bad for Ole Thom his funny keel with its homemade end plates
could not cope with the average conditions found in the Gulf Stream.

Too bad Donal's Beneteau's can't brave the Gulf Stream.

Too bad Binary Bill doesn't even own a boat.

Too bad Oz would rather expound upon his liberal views then sail at all.

Too bad DSK's trawler would capsize in the sea conditions "Cut the Mustard"
thrives on.

Too bad Sea Hag doesn't even have a mast on her dock-bound old wooden tub.

Too bad Horvath's cheap, thin and tawdry Hunter is only good for inland lakes.

Too bad Scotty has to work to make a living and can't find the time to enjoy
this type of sailing.

Too bad Jeff Morris's catamaran is only capable(barely) in the Intracoastal.

Too bad JaxAshby doesn't seem to be interested in posting or reading anything
pertaining to boats.

Too bad Wally's little bitty boat barely has room for his spare kilt let alone
for a sail selection necessary for Gulf Stream sailing.

Too bad Shenn 44 and otnmbrd don't sail and their poorly captained motor
boats represent a hazard to us real sailors.

Too bad Gone Fishing has never seen a flying fish (plentiful in the Stream!)

Too bad Gilligan (a master at everything to which he puts his hand) prefers
mountains to oceans for surely he would also be a Master Mariner like me.

Too bad Scout's sounding like a liberal lately. Maybe he needs to go sailing
to get his head straight.

Too bad I will never need the services of lawyer Dave who is very intelligent
and reasoned and too bad Dave will never have the necessary skill to sail the
Gulf Stream. Some of us sail and some of us fight the bureaucracy.

Too bad MaxProp, though he has the correct political bent, hasn't made us
aware of what boat he sails.

My crew wants me to include Tugboat Ricky (Jetcap) in this post because
he is a hateful idiot who needs to take his motorboat act to a motorboat
newsgroup.

Too bad Bart Senior is so much like Bart Simpson - what does he sail, anyway?

Too bad Marty chugs a Mooseface beer every time he signs his posts with "cheers".
He's a Mooron wannabe and just another Canadian arse.

Too bad Miss Mo'lissa wasn't good enough for me.

Really, folks, but most of you are a pathetic lot. Here I am out sailing with
a lady and doing what sailors do while you are still here flailing away at
your keyboards only dreaming of sailing but mostly engaging in actuality
wanking.

Now, I know what you're going to say. In Bobsprit fashion, you're probably
going to demand proof in the form or pictures, so to shut you all up I shall
soon post a link to some pics for your edification. I even have some nice movies
but they are large - some as large as 12 megs and I can't figure out how
to get them uploaded as yet. I'm thinking of using some sort of FTP site but
I'll have to Google them up. Do any of you putzes have any suggestions on
how to share very large .mov files? If you want proof, I have proof . . .

Hey, Ole Thom, I wonder what you've been doing while I was out sailing
with a lady (not one of those transsexuals) putting my Hong Kong sails to
further stress and strain the likes of which would tear your silly sails to
shreds?

Respectfully,
Captain Neal and Crew (you'll never guess!)

Neal,

I've been busy trying to stay warm. We are getting hit with cold
"northern winds" again. Probably until the week-end. Then I'll do a
little day sailing

I envy you and your warm weather, when it get like this here in the NW
but not for long. If you are really sailing in those wind strengths you
should be thinking of using a clew strap. Your outhaul wasn't designed
to take that kind of tension on the boom slot.

Looking forward to your pictures

Ole Thom

I thank you sir for the fine compliment. Coming from a true Master Mariner
such as yourself, I can only hold it in very high regard.

JG,

"Neal never went any place-----" You're sure of that, are you? You have
proof?
I'm not sure? You may be correct but you could also be wrong.

RedCloud has been in the stream more than your coastal day sailor boat.

When your vessel has crossed the Atlantic 4 times give me a call and
then I might respect your meager coronado.

Thom,

Really... I'm certain. He never goes anywhere. He's shown this over and
over. I tend to believe the obvious, but I guess I'm in the minority.

The reason this fine 56N location, with its nine-month sailing season, is so
temperate is because it's *in* the Gulf Stream.

Sheesh! tm
