Neal can't set any sails to any wind.

There is a 'solar wind.' It consists of charged particles and it is strong enough to make it all the way to the heliopause. These charged particles bouncing off the solar sails impart small forces in the direction away from the sun and the sails are propelled away at very high velocities though the acceleration is rather uninspiring. Calling a recurring wave of charged particles a "Wind"..... well it's cute and all... but Ganz and Ozone think it's a breeze and you can set your sails to the wind! CM |
