I just found out that American Dollars are no good in France. They won't
acept them and if they are forced to exchange USD for EUD... they charge a
high fee for exchange!!

she told them to not try and send USD as the French hated Americans and

Sorry, but this is not true. My wife was just in France visiting friends and US
currency was happily excepted anywhere she went with no unique problems.
