I didn't see a single example of ridiculing another boat there.
Ridiculing "Bobsprit" does not count as ridiculing "contributors." You've been around long enough to know the difference. Its really nothing new. Many small boats and most beach cats have rotating rigs. You just don't see them often on cruising boats, because they aren't very strong compared to a traditional rig. And while you can make a case that it produces a more efficient rig, you can also create more efficient rigs with full length battens and a large roach without sacrificing strength. |
